As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?
My name is Brad Hansen. I’m an art director and illustrator—designer by day and Illustrator by night!

How did you make these?
Most of my recent work is created in Procreate on the iPad with an apple pencil. But I also work heavily in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop on various projects.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I love creating illustration series and keeping certain elements consistent within those series. I almost see them as a branding project where I must stick to a certain consistent direction. It actually helps me feel more creative when I give myself boundaries—I recommend giving that a try!
What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?
Be Kind—ALWAYS. You never know how much of an impact you can have on someone. A little kindness will go a long way, and kindness beats talent any day of the week.
