YEP—wallpaper and wall murals are coming to the s6 product family! Here’s everything you need to know before it goes live worldwide next week:

Wallpaper

– Size options in feet: 2’ (wide) x 4’ (high), 2’ x 8’, 2’ x 10’
– Printed on self-adhesive woven polyester fabric panels, easy to stick on and off       without messing up your walls (really!)
– Repeating patterns on each panel
– Matte finish and texture
– Features vibrant, water-based, non-toxic inks
– Washable with mild soap and water

What are the required pixel dimensions for the wallpaper asset?

Minimum Pixel Requirement is 3600 x 3600 px (12” x 12”)

What asset is being used to activate wallpaper?

None! You’ll have to upload your own.

Can I design a horizontally-oriented pattern?

Yes, but keep in mind that the panels are designed to be hung vertically, in long strips that align at the edges.

What are the required pixel dimensions for the wall mural asset?

Wall Mural minimal pixel requirements are 6000 x 6000 px for the 8’ x 8’ panels or 9000 x 6000 px  for the 12’ x 8’ panels

What asset is being used to activate wallpaper?

Wall Murals will be seeded from art prints that meet the minimum pixel requirements! If your art prints are not large enough, you’ll need to upload custom assets.

OH AND—

When enabling your Wall Mural, the thumbnail will display the 8′ x 8′ preview by default, even if your asset is is 12′ x 8′. The product editor view and the product detail page will correctly display your piece. We are working on a fix for this issue, but wanted to get this product out to you as quickly as possible!
