We have a unique opportunity at Society6 to tell stories in a variety of ways, whether through the lens of a new freelancer, a DIY expert or an artist who is finally living out their dreams.

So this year, we’ve decided to bring all of these perspectives together each month under one central theme. These monthly themes will allow us to explore a range of topics from almost any view point, all the while harkening back to the central core of what we’ve chosen to explore that particular month.

This month, we’re talking about one of our favorite topics, personal style.

“Style” is a word that’s thrown around a lot and on some level, everyone is expected to have and know what their own personal style is, but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Sure, some people know that they’re all about florals or waffles or the 1600’s, but most people seem to have a harder time aligning their internal compass towards the things they truly feel represent themselves. The truth is—real “style”, the kind that’s born out of a knowing, loving and embracing of self is often a lifelong, but incredible worthwhile journey.

This month, we’ll explore how to actually figure out what you like and then how to make that dream style a reality without breaking the bank. From the artists’ perspective, we’ll also be looking at how to refine your own artistic style so that your distinctive creativity shines in a world of copycats and comparison. We’re excited.

Start refining your style by looking through our collection of art that’s inspired by embracing your own vibe
