Simply stated, Now On View celebrates and showcases the artists of Society6 and their work. Get to know them—and then get lost in their gallery.

Who are you and what do you do? My name is Luisa Salas (a.k.a. LOU), I am a Mexican artist who paints joyful minimal abstract pieces.

Current city: Cancún, México

Clients: West Elm, Nike, Bershka, Sordo Madaleno, Molotow Mx, Lemon Jelly, Izzy Wheels, Lindsay, Fenton & Fenton

How did you make these? Most of my work is made through the process of drafting on paper, some color and composition adjustments on Adobe Illustrator or Procreate and, in some cases, it ends up being an original painting, as well.

Why did you make these? To keep myself creative. I’m a person who enjoys drawing or painting for hours, whether it is an 80-meter long mural, a paper sketch or a digital work.

What do people typically say about your work? That it makes them happy. People usually give me compliments about my color balance and how it takes them to a happy, chill place—most of them say the beach.
