Simply stated, Now On View celebrates and showcases the artists of Society6 and their work. Get to know them—and then get lost in their gallery.

Who are you and what do you do? My name is Silvia Reginato, I’m an illustrator and graphic designer. I draw a lot of plants and all my tattoos are about nature, and also my name means “from the woods.” That’s destiny.

Current city: A small town called Bassano del Grappa, Italy

How did you make these? I make all my illustration digitally, sometimes I combine ink strokes and texture with graphic shapes and solid colors. I draw things I really like and that make me happy. A few years ago I used to illustrate only in black and white but now I love bold colors.

Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed by digital tools I go back to pen and pencils. I still have a lot of unfinished sketchbooks though.

Why did you make these? I started to be interested in illustration because it allowed me to speak about things I’m too scared to do so in person. I’ve always been shy but I also like to express myself and my illustrations show how I really am. Now I am fully in love with my job, it’s the only thing I want to do ’til the end of my days.

What do people typically say about your work? They usually say that my illustrations are cute and that the minimal style and technique make the meaning immediately understandable. Some people are really amazed by the simplicity of some of my drawings and the way I use a small number of lines for the subjects. That makes me so happy!
