We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with TIME’S UP, featuring twelve inspiring and exclusive pieces of artwork created by Society6 artists.
From the farm fields to the tech field, from the factory floor to the floor of The Stock Exchange, women everywhere have come together to say TIME’S UP.
Women—especially women of color—are overrepresented in low-wage jobs, but underrepresented in decision-making roles across nearly every industry. It’s time to shift the imbalance of power and ensure every woman’s voice is heard.
The artists chosen have created new, inspired designs exclusively for TIME’S UP’s Society6 shop. A portion of all proceeds will directly support the organization’s vision of a world that insists upon safe, fair and dignified work for women of all kinds.
Here, we’re showcasing the twelve artists who created the exclusive TIME’S UP prints by asking them what inspired their piece and what the mission of TIME’S UP means to them.

“Intersectionality has always been a huge driving force behind my feminism, so I was immediately drawn to it as a concept. I wanted to visually represent the spectrum of womxnhood and how these identities can intersect. I believe no womxn comes in one form.
Seeing the rise of TIME’S UP and the work they’ve been doing to give a voice to the underrepresented and demand change has been the biggest inspiration for this piece.”
Rebecca Flattley
Melbourne, Australia
“My piece is about coming together, fighting for a common cause and the power we have as women when we stand together to fight the patriarchy. The strength we have in unity is truly remarkable and we need that unity to create positive changes. There is no time to waste, the unjust behavior and treatment we receive is preposterous and unfair and can not continue, we need to speak up, now.”
Maia Faddoul
Montréal, Canada
“For this piece, I wanted to illustrate a determined female figure leading the way.
My goal was to be true to TIME’S UP’s message and to highlight the incredible importance of taking a stance for safety, equality and respect for women in the workforce everywhere.”
Louisa Cannell
Brooklyn, New York
“TIME’S UP is about action. It is about abolishing the ways of the past and moving forward with respect, community and dignity. I drew this woman to be proud, powerful, beautiful and full of hope that the future will treat us and our children better. We will not be swept aside or ignored, our time of strength is now.”
Jenny Chang-Rodriguez
New York, New York
“TIME’S UP to me means enough is enough. It means no longer having tolerance and no more keeping quiet. It’s about women who are creating a community and a voice while disrupting a broken system. This movement has a very close place in my heart, as I’m sure it does for a lot of people.
The main point I really wanted to focus on through this illustration is the incredible strength of this movement and most importantly, that you are not alone. It’s amazing to see the power, love and resilience, both within ourselves, and that we have together.”
Carmela Caldart
Barcelona, Spain
“My inspiration for this piece is community—women of all kinds fighting and marching together for equality, dignity and respect. That is what TIME’S UP means to me: women taking power into our own hands, women speaking out against abuse, harassment and discrimination and women changing not only workplace culture, but the world.”
Ana Leovy
Mexico City, Mexico
“I was inspired by friendship and support among women. I wanted to portray a universe filled with hope, where reaching for the stars is not impossible. A place where we can rely in each other and become stronger together.
TIME’S UP’s message is very important to me on a personal level. Growing up in Mexico can be quite hard as a woman; you rarely feel safe, it is a very “macho” society. This movement not only empowers women all over the world, but helps create awareness among men as well, which I think it is incredibly important; educating everyone is key for change to actually happen.”
Camila Rosa
Joinville, Brazil
“This piece is about power and resilience. Women and nature are connected in a deep way and both are very strong in handling adversities of life. I chose to illustrate a very bold woman holding a flower to unify these two worlds.
TIME’S UP is a very important organization. We need to change our reality and we can’t tolerate certain behaviors anymore. TIME’S UP helps us to recognize the problem and to build resistance through the knowledge of our rights.”
Amber Vittoria
New York, New York
“The piece speaks to a collective of individual stories, that when we come together as one, we can be empowered to share them. TIME’S UP gives encouragement and strength to those willing to share their stories.”
Alja Horvat
Ljubljana, Slovenia
“As a woman I feel that there is sometimes unnecessary competition between us and instead of bringing each other down we should cheer for each other and we should fight together. We should fight against all the wrong things that are happening to all of us because the more you give the more you receive.
Growing up in a world where the mindset is that we (women) are not smart enough or important enough is hard and tiring and I’m so happy this is finally changing. I’m embracing equality with both hands wide open.”

“TIME’S UP means rejoining in our strength as we are kind, support each other, and help each other accept who we are; we are gorgeous, strong, interesting and unique and together, we fight for a more equal, empathetic and just future.
With this illustration I would like to represent the sacredness of sisterhood; how all of us in our different ways carry within ourselves the strength to grow together and make our surroundings, our environment and the world a better place.”
Alda Lilja
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
“My inspiration for this piece comes from my own life and all the inspirational women I know. The themes of the drawing are friendship, community, empowerment and self growth. When we put all our knowledge and experience together we become infinitely powerful.
I was excited to work with TIME’S UP because I appreciate the work they do. Knowing there is someone out there actively working on holding abusers accountable is super empowering and I think it is a big step in the right direction and I am honored to be a part of that.”
