About Cat Coquillette
Cat is an incredibly passionate artist, teacher and traveler. We were thrilled she was willing to let us in on her secrets to success, but even further, she couldn’t have been a better fit for this project.
She’s a location-independent designer and illustrator currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, although Kansas City is the place she calls home. She’s spent a majority of her career as a graphic designer, with a passion for illustration blooming into a large part of her brand. She illustrates in a variety of mediums, including digital, watercolor, ink and gouache. Her artwork typically incorporates bright pops of color, typography, clean linework and a broad range of motifs. (Current obsessions: animal skulls, fuzzy critters and blooming foliage.)
