As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?
My name is Susana Paz, and I am a digital illustrator.
Current city: Oporto, Portugal
How did you make these?
I studied graphic design, and after that, I started my journey as an art teacher.
A while back, I took a risk and decided to quit my long-standing job to focus on my illustration work; it was a big decision but one that I definitely don’t regret.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Everywhere! Nowadays, it’s impossible not to be inspired by the huge amount of visual information available. Also, my young students have always been a source of inspiration for me. They’re fearless with their use of colors and shapes.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?
If you want to succeed and be seen you have to be focused, work hard and create every single day!
