Simply stated, Now On View celebrates and showcases the artists of Society6 and their work. Get to know them—and then get lost in their gallery.

As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?

I’m Mina Wright — a visual artist and multidisciplinary designer.

Current city: Tegucigalpa, Honduras

How did you make these?

First of all, I always sketch everything with pencil on paper. I think it’s the best way to let ideas flow. For digital illustrations, I usually use Illustrator, Photoshop, Affinity Designer, and Wacom and for my paintings, I use acrylic with gouache and a lot of different types of texture as well.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

I take a lot of my inspiration from nature, geometry, and music. Lots of my work is based on the way I picture music.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?

I recently got this quote from a very close friend and basically it said that we should pay mind to beauty itself instead of paying attention and effort to things that we can’t change and learn to appreciate time alone. The more you know yourself, the more genuine you and your work will be.

Where can people find you?
