This Week in Photography
Take a little trip into nature through the photos of Andrew Ly. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Andrew makes a point to capture the excitement of arriving at a grand destination and shows the humanity of the subjects within his viewfinder.
It’s the height of warm days and sunny rays, so what do we need? That’s right: eye shades. Check out a few artists featuring one of the best (at least in my opinion) inventions for seeing through the sun’s bright high beams.
On the other side of the spectrum this summer, we get a soothing blend of colors. Take a trip with our artists giving a nod to the mellow background of colors that keep us comforted.
Robert Gretenkort | Berlin, Germany
The bright hues showcased in the works of Robert Gretenkort show a balanced blend of design, illustration and active imagination. His works features both positivity and curiosity and brings viewers along for a fun entertaining ride.
About the Curator
Hello there art friends. My name is Nathan Spoor, Head of Curation at Society6. I have over 25 years of experience as an art curator for galleries and museums, I’ve written for several prominent art publications and published three books on contemporary art. I’m also a painter and a member of one of the first groups of artists that took the plunge and joined Society6 in 2009. Since 2015, I’ve been the full-time Society6 curator, continuously thrilled to be on the forefront of surfacing so much amazing work, sharing rising artists, trending themes and color stories that spark inspiration and fuel the imagination.
Each day I dive into a sea of new art uploads on Society6, surrounded by a virtual treasure trove of artists from around the world sharing their original works paintings, photographs, illustrations and designs.
