We love our wallpaper and we know you will too. Here’s some easy, step-by-step instructions to make sure you hang it perfectly every time!
Step 1: Flatten your Design
Unroll your Wallpaper and weigh down the corners with books (or something heavy) so that the paper lays flat. Let it sit for about an hour.
Step 2: Prep the Space
Remove outlets, light covers, vents, nails, screws or any other protrusions in the wall or surface. Then wipe it down so there’s no dust or debris.
Step 3: Measure your Space
Measure the dimensions of the space you’re covering before you start cutting.
Step 4: Precut your Panels
Cut your panels a few inches LARGER than needed (you’ll remove the excess parts later) before you start sticking.
Step 5: Apply Wallpaper from the Corner
Starting from the top left or right corner, peel off about a foot from the adhesive backing, then align the design to the corner of the wall and start sticking.
Tip: Stick Slowly
As you peel away the backing, use your hands to gently press and stick the design to the surface.
Tip: Cut Away Extra Backing
The adhesive will get in your way if it gets too long. Make sure to cut it off as you stick the Wallpaper to the surface.
Tip: Treat Air Pockets as you Go
If any air pockets form while sticking, smooth them out with a smoothing tool. If that doesn’t work, slowly peel the Wallpaper off and reapply. Be very careful not to crease the Wallpaper.
Tip: Smooth Down the Panel
Before going onto the next panel, smooth down the Wallpaper with your smoothing tool. Make sure the entire panel is applied to the surface, with minimal air pockets.
Step 6: Line up the Next Panel and Repeat
Make sure the next panel is lined up correctly according to the pattern design, then repeat steps 5 through 7 until your surface is fully covered.
Final Step: Cut off Excess Wallpaper
After all the panels are up, use a razor, utility blade or scissors to cut off any remaining Wallpaper near the floor and edges. Cut out the holes for outlets and light switches.
