As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?
I’m an Italian visual artist, always traveling, based between Milan and London. I mainly work with photography, graphics and drawings. I’ve been active since 2008.
Current city: Between Milan and London.
How did you make these?
I create my drawings using digital softwares, I love the infinite possibilities that come with this kind of medium; also I use to draw with pencil, charcoal and ink on every paper sheet that I find! When it comes to photography, I use to shoot the photograph and work on that with digital softwares to create what I have in mind; something that jumps over the reality in itself. Often I mix photography with graphics, I’m a lover of vintage posters and editorial graphic designs.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I can’t imagine my work without people/bodies/souls. I’m deeply connected with bodies energies and my main inspiration comes from that. It’s a sort of essence research.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?
From my point of view I can say that the most important thing is to pass from every stage, layer to layer, until you can reach your deepest nature; it’s there that resides your purest intent, that should be the voice that you should transpose in your art.
Where can people find you?
You can see some of my works on my website: luigimianostudio.wixsite.com/luigimianostudio/lastworks
