As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?
My name is Vanda Pap, and I am a Hungarian photographer and visual content creator. Besides shooting a lot of portraiture work, I consistently collaborate with brands to create fresh and creative content for their social media channels and websites.
Current city: Brisbane, Australia
How did you make these?
The main focus of my work is to reveal the beauty of the ordinary, which most people overlook. We have become too busy to pay attention to what surrounds us, and we are bored with our routines. But, beauty can be found everywhere, and we will never get bored if we watch or listen closely. When creating my images I love experimenting with colors, shapes and lights and how they can interact in creative ways.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Colors and sounds in nature, the small acts of daily life, playing with shadows and light, other artists, architecture, literature, films… lots of things.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?
Be patient, be persistent, keep practicing and stay passionate.
