As a way of introducing yourself, who are you and what do you do?
Hi! I’m Thalia Roman, an illustrator focusing on portraits, animals, and pattern design.
Current city: Fort Worth, TX
How did you make these?
Currently, my main medium is Procreate but I also use watercolor, pencil, and acrylic.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I draw inspiration from patterns and images I see in my everyday life. This includes everything from patterns in natural landscapes to details I’ve interpreted from images and artwork.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?
I think it’s important to continually practice your skill and be willing to evolve as an artist. Success as an artist takes hard work and time. You have to be willing to put yourself out there and believe others will see your value in due time.
